I'm suggesting disassembling the receiver itself.

At which point, it would no longer be able to fire projectiles, as the firing pin, chamber, loading, and ejection mechanisms are what constitute the receiver.  Disassembly means not having these parts, which are essential to firing a bullet.

. . . right, which was the goal. Now it is not a firearm, and you can safely go about your day in the clothing of your choice without a permit. If you wish to use your rifle arm to fire bullets, of course, you cannot apply this strategy, which is why I offered it as an alternative option.

I just watched a trailer for the Solo movie and discovered something very important

It is not a Star Wars movie

It is a feature length Firefly/Star Wars crossover fanfiction with Han Solo as Malcolm Reynolds

Valve changed the wishlist page on Steam, now I can't sort things by cost unless I do it manually via sorting.  I kinda don't understand the idea behind it honestly, they removed a nice simple sorting function that let me check prices at a glance (especially useful during a sale).

Well, whatever, I'll go with this one instead:  On Tuesday a chunk of falling ice struck the awning (aluminum) over our back door, which pulled it partway off the wall, suddenly last night (around 1 am local) the awning decided that it didn't want to be attached to the house anymore and tore the rest of the way loose, making an awful amount of noise and startling my wife pretty badly.

Welp. Praise the Orc. First story I've ever read where a human masquerading as an orc fist bumps a tiger within the first eight chapters. And not like some kind of special magic tiger. Just a straight up tiger they found chilling in the woods, beat unconscious, and then threw at a pack of wolves as a distraction.

Earned itself at least a few more chapters of reading with that, I suppose.

Well, not that there was much left in the way of laws to worry about, but I believe by the end of the film she had taken to wearing a long dress to cover her, uh, fireleg. Also they were travelling on horseback which negated her usual difficulties with walking on it.
