The poor snake has probably forgotten why its back end is suspended above the ground in an unusually warm and wet hole because there is a cat in its view, and not a frog with a big ass tongue that looks suspiciously like its body.

The frog is regretting this decision. As soon as it swallows that snake, the cat will attack it. If it does not swallow the snake before the cat ceases to distract it, the snake might turn around and bite it.

The cat on the other hand has never seen such a terrifying and fascinating chimera.
