I've been tired pretty...tiredly lately, and I find myself misspelling things into more hilarious and silly phonological substitutes of what I'm thinking, and even when I'm typing what I'm thinking, it loops about and I find myself typing a different idea altogether--I only notice this when I re-read what I write, and I usually 're-read' by imagery which ends up me being baffled at times at what I was writing. Whimsical, humorous, and witty, but not what I had in mind! x_x

Sadly can't remember examples <_< My memory is very selective in general.

I'm starting to notice that the clock on my PC is starting to deviate more and more from my phone clock(which is automatically set). Right now it's a 6-7 minute difference, when I remember that it was a 3-4 minute difference.

It's a rather fascinating study. Because the Soviet Union was not at war with Japan until after Hiroshima, it could not aid a party to the Pacific War against another party, even though the party in question (the USAAF) was a co-belligerent in the war against Germany. Despite this, US B-29 pilots were told that, if they were too damaged to return to base after striking Japan, they could instead go onward and land in Siberia - the idea being that having the planes and aircrews interned by a "neutral" party was preferable to having them lost at sea, and infinitely preferable to having them be captured by the Japanese.

As the Soviet Union had no strategic warfare capability (fortunately, neither did the Axis powers), and because Stalin fully expected the Powers that had tried to strangle the Soviet Union in the cradle (by aiding the White Russians in the Civil War) to set upon him after the Reich had fallen , Stalin was determined to even the odds and ordered that an exact copy be made. The engineers made an exact copy, to the point where a long, beurecratic fight was needed to use Soviet made parachutes instead of American ones, and sheet metal plants were retooled to make sheet metal in fractions of an inch instead of simply using the next-thickest standard metric one.

Like, it's not just a case of weird nostalgia like I get for some things I'd never experienced before, it's not the WC3 tracks used throughout, I am actually really sure that I heard this song as a child.

I am actually sure I have heard it not so long ago. It tends to pop up on more obscure radio stations since it was pretty popular a fair bit of time ago, either that or some other version of the original... at least I am perfectly sure I know the tune very well.
