the opinion is that death is good though, like, there's no real way around that... it's not a good sentiment to have

Correction: Living forever in the same environment would be shite.

But I don't know, if the workforce suddenly became immortal, that means that they get time to themselves after having to work for the sake of others for so long.

But the thing is, the main thing that causes depression is more like lack of power in the individual rather than a flaw with the world.

Ennui, on the other hand, would be an issue. But this is humanity we're talking about. We'll come up with something.
