I have heard of this, and it is interesting. Marx was so very anti-religion, but at the same time, if you look in the Bible you will find a lot of what Jesus says appears at least superficially compatible with marxist stuff. The pope sounds like a socialist as well.

I don't like tattoos. They look weird to me. Not that I have anything against them per se, just somewhat unappealing.
That said, I feel the same way about piercings. Even ear piercings make me balk a little.

Okay, wow, I'm seriously wondering how bad at introspection I am now just due to how egregious this was.

I thought I, like, didn't like Toby Fox? Not, like, hate, but just thinking he's nothing special. But a good 70% of the music I would regularly listen to was him or a remix of his music. That was before Undertale came out. His music is what got me into Homestuck and his music was consistently some of my favorite through all the albums, but somehow I only ever thought "yeah he's sorta cool", when, no, I've basically been a huge fan for a quarter of my life.

I think it should've been a red flag when I saw that Undertale had released and I bought it basically instantly, huh? I didn't realize I was actually a fan until after it had made me cry, which is, like, amazing.

i didn't even follow him on friggin twitter until after i had played the game for fuck's sake, like, my criteria for that is "i've listened to, watched, played or read basically anything you've done and enjoyed it"

I'm not the only one who feels the same way about them. Yay. They seem unnecessary to me. Fun fact: historically, piercings were a sign of slavery in ancient Rome. They gave owners nice sensitive spots to attach restraints.

Of course they're "unnecessary", it's just a way to change your appearance for your own enjoyment*.
Purely a personal choice, the same as changing your hair colour or wearing stretchy pants.

Watched the annual Declaration of Christmas Peace. After it, the crowd sang the national anthem, which is completely understandable. After that, the orchestra played the honorary march of the FDF. Why is such a warlike song about how "soon the sabre will strike fire and the bullet will fly again, whistling" played right after a declaration of peace?

That said, piercings (of a normal kind at least) can be pretty hot. It's the something that's off about a usually unbroken surface, considered more aesthetically eppealing the smoother it is, being broken deliberately.

I don't like tattoos either, they're weird. If I had one on me I'd feel the instinctual need to be rid of it. I think it reminds me of the discoloration caused by infection or something.
