I just saw a quite stereotypical "pansexual genderfluid human who prefers female pronouns" (her own words) comment on Facebook, demonizing self esteem:

"But seriously, we idolize her because of her ability to love herself. But really those people who have the self esteem of a god should just go burn in hell because of how easy they make it look"

Just add that of the trend of bigoted rights activists who believe a non-minority member should be responsible for the feelings of a minority. Rights? I'm all for that. I'll gladly take a baseball bat to anyone who acts otherwise. But feelings? C'mon.

Traditionally marginalized groups can be just as bigoted as your average white male when their time in the sun comes. News at 11.

Well-said. It's kinda strange that people seem to hold marginalised groups to a higher standard of awareness, which does seem sensible, but... nope. Humans be humans.

Ok that is some scary looking stuff.  I see on the site people posted just random selfies and things like that that are really meh, but then it's like you get something like pluto which as far as I can guess is like nothing it's ever seen and the crazy is cranked up to 11.   That first dreamified pluto looks more bizzare than some of the images on the site that look like they've passed through the filter 3 times or more.
I think with the pluto image there was a lot of empty space for the ai to fill up, as well as a very broad "blank" space of color surrounded by blackness which the ai could build on. There's no obvious features, like facial features or shadows or anything, on pluto, which makes everything the ai adds to it very distinctive and noticeable.

Yeah, the selfies tend to come out looking the same. The most interesting results seem to happen with other images.

You might want to put a NSFW warning with that link; some of the users seem to have chosen, er, particular things to take images of, and random uploaded images are shown on the front page. It's an unfortunate combination.

Also-wtf: my cat purrs like the gurgling of a demijohn letting out air bubbles from a gallon of beer.
... what the blazes is a demijohn? My... spellcheck even recognizes it, but that's the first time I've ever seen one and all I can imagine the some kind of unholy mixture of a demilich and a partaker of whores.*

Actually looking at it, the alternate name is apparently carboy, and I still have no idea what the fuck these things are. I appear to have seen them, but I've never seen either of those words before. How the blue hell has a jug wrapped in something ended up with either of those names?

Bloody hell, I have family that used to run freaking moonshine and that still rings no bells.

*E: The mental image, by the way, is roughly that of a skull servitor wearing a strap-on. It comes with the scene of corner workers fleeing into the distance, warning others nearby, "Fly you fools, the demijohn approaches!"

Yeah, I noticed some shit shortly after posting the link. Added a note to the link I made. Don't think linking it breaks forum rules since it's not guaranteed nsfw shit but there is the potential for it. Like how imgur has the potential for nsfw shit.

On the upside, you can report any images for being inappropriate. Yay, internet police.

The dreamified porn is unsurprisingly not hot.

You have a beautiful mind.

Looking up the etymology of it -

demijohn (n.) Look up demijohn at Dictionary.com
1769, partial translation and word-play from French damejeanne (late 17c.) "Lady Jane," term used for large globular wicker-wrapped bottle, perhaps because its shape suggested a stout woman in the costume of the period. A general Mediterranean word, with forms found in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Arabic.

So, you're not far off.

I think that that one is based on the images people feed into the site.  Since most users is feeding selfies in... well, eyes everywhere.

I've seen arches and buildings dreamed up out of other features of images. Not as prevalent as dog faces and eyes, I think.
