Randomly browsing the internet, and found out that the Drew Carey Show had an episode that directly parodied The Sims. Not only is such a direct reference to a specific game rare on television, but I had no idea that the show lasted long enough to exist at the same time.

That makes sense, I just thought that the Drew Carey Show ended in the late 90s a little after Full House did, and I also thought the Sims didn't come out until 2002 or 2003.
