....I just learned about the existence of Hi-Point firearms. Specifically, Hi-Point firearms and their horrifically ugly guns. What in the world posessed them to make them look like they do?! Seriously, it's like they let a child come up with their guns!

God damn. They make Glocks look positively cute. On the other hand, they are remarkably cheap. Hmm.

It's actually mirrored from the Earthbound sprite, looking at some LP images. Wonder how that came about (as it is very unlikely to be deliberate), though.

They just look like generic guns to me. Nothing particularly hideous or pretty, just.. guns.

A don't Text and Drive seminar/interactive exhibit was set up at my school today.

  You got to play a texting simulator that looked like crazy taxi without the crazy and they played smashing pumpkins.  Took me a second to realize that they were playing pop-rock songs.

I tried real hard to roll my eyes and move on, but I couldn't resist snarking.  It was an improvement over the typical hip-hop music, however.

After all, with the old blackberries you could type without looking at the phone.  But I digress.
