Speaking of forum options, by default you can't see images in people's signatures.  It was pretty cool to discover this and see a previously hidden realm.

... I don't think I can seriously take seeing pictures in sigs on my 50 post per page thing. 

* Zangi has flashback of huge ass flashing pictures in sigs, repeated at least 5 times on a page from the past... the time when I first set foot in the interwebs... such lawless depravity.

There might be a harsh size limit or something.  It's basically just flags and sometimes modest avatars.

The flags (which are tiny pixel-art) contain dense info though.

I can't remember exactly where (Gaia Online, maybe?), but some forum I used to visit back in the day had a limit, where it displayed each person's sig just once per page. Which was good, since they could get pretty fucking obnoxious... pretty sure kid-me had one stretching for over half a pagelength. *nostalgia*

Sigflags and how I think they're dumb.

What's dumb about sigflags?
I mean, I don't see the point of 'em myself, but they aren't exactly vibrating across the page in a siezure-inducing mass.
...Unless the fad has evolved quite a bit whilst I've been browsing on my phone and thus not seeing sigs, I guess.
