In Religious Studies Class, I notice that I got a 42% on some project. This is the first thing I've ever failed, so I'm pretty surprised, but I'm confident that it is just a mistake, probably on the teacher's part. I go ask him if I can see the assignment, and after looking it over, I ask why I got zeroes in two of the sections. After checking it over again briefly, he replies, "You didn't answer those questions."

I look back over the assignment. The two questions I "didn't answer" are questions 2 and 3:
2. What is being compared in this story?
3. What is the crisis in the parable?
Direct quotes from my response paragraphs:
"The aforementioned lost sheep is being compared to a sinner, and the shepherd is being compared to God."
"Like all parables, it has a crisis: when the sheep gets lost."
Now, I realize that these are pretty sucky answers, but religion class is pretty much "minimal effort = good mark" (the teacher actually told us, "Just listen and complete the work and you'll get a 90[%]"). Also, he didn't even say that the answers were incomplete, or lacking in detail, or even just too short; he just said that they weren't there.

But he did say I could redo it, which is why this isn't in the rage thread, so it should be all good.

Legally hypnosis exists and is offered under medicare and is a scientific fact and can be scientifically studied and measured.

But whatever

We are sort of long past the "Its hocus pocus" phase of hypnosis study... Or the "It works so long as we don't observe it scientifically" part as well.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 is a bit bipolar at times. I asked Atton about the Jedi Civil War, and he got all angry and had a rant about how the Jedi suck and maybe the galaxy would be better off without them. He ended it with "I'm done talking with you"... but the dialogue continued and I was able to ask him about his past, so he suddenly gets shy and evasive immediately after being so worked up and pissed off at me.

Aaah, the best part is he's probably right. Well, no. They'd be better if they grew a pair. For one, I've never seen it as a two-sided thing, the force. More like Light side is just holding back. Dark side is unleashing it's full potential. Now, the Jedi are said to be the peacekeepers of the Galaxy...

Yet they only use the Light Side. Now, if we had a sith peacekeeper force, we'd do a lot better, methinks.

Or be Revan and master both, thus becoming metal as fuck

...The point still stands. The Emperor mastered both, and he got cocky and then was moidered. Revan was only defeated because Bastillia had her magicial space bosoms of bullshitery and morale.

Hypnosis has a time and a place.  Its been proven too susceptible to outside influence and bias.
  If -> innocent until proven guilty
  Then -> Hypnosis is dubious in a court of law.
