Just saw a whole table of football team jocks wearing varsity jackets getting pizza. They were actually talking about online games and stuff with wizards and items and shit that sounded very much like an RPG.... These would have been the types of kids who would have tried to beat me up when I was in school and now this is the thing they are playing too?

Seriously, suggestions of terrorism and war crimes, complaints about non-problems, standard Britain First stuff. My favourite bit is probably the things to the effect of what's in the original post,

Remember when it was all Dungeons and Dragons fault?

I got into that game BECAUSE it was so vilified. I had no one around me playing but I got the books and started my own group just because the media was so damn freaked out about it.

Of course, I was like eight or so, so bad almost always equated with cool.

Honestly at first I thought this whole Dungeons and dragons is satanic thing was just something stupid people who go to church groups believed. Like Rock and Roll...

But when I mentioned to my parents that I play (I played online) they said "Isn't that supposed to be Satanic?"

And dear goodness I was floored. Mind you I said "no" and they believed me... but WOW that believe was surprisingly far stretched.

I remember when I asked my mom what she would do if she found out I had the Satanic Bible. Without even thinking she was like "I would burn it." We barely ever even went to Church.

When I was in middle school, my parents came into my room in the morning. The night before I had been messing around with some leaves I had collected from a different state, and had crumpled them up so there was leaf pieces everywhere. I was half asleep and I hear them talking. "does it look like a pentagram?" "I don't know, what should we do?"

My parents were nuts.

My favorite time was when I learned our church's doctrine was that demons and wizards were real, physical things that existed and worked for the devil. Fuckin lol.
