Former business owning client (who did not pay me shit) was told he would owe capital gains taxes to the IRS. Did not wanna hear it.... Decided not to use my services anymore, because he didn't like what I had to say. Called me "obstructionist," in writing, basically for saying there would be tax implications he couldn't afford....
The IRS is now suing him for roughly $10 Million Dollars.... It's about that once you look at interest, penalties, late fees, fines, etc. Also, this is called tax evasion....
Jerk calls and tries to tell me I have to tell the IRS he didn't know.... That is to say he's trying to plead ignorance. Never works but meh....
1.) There's a written memo out there that they WILL find you received and reviewed. It was signed for physically and emailed separately.
2.) I'm not lying to the IRS for you, you bastard, especially not in sworn in testimony.
3.) Remember that part where you wrote me off and didn't pay me? I do....
Great, so I was subpenaed to testify, because moron tried to throw me under the bus to save his own oily skin. My ass is thoroughly covered and I have nothing to fear, I kept records of everything. Jerk "can't find" any of his. The funny thing? By attempting and failing to implicate me in your little criminal stupidity, you now free me to use any and all records I have to defend myself, including those relating to your matters.... Yes, by all means, attempt the screw over on my home turf....
Why yes I do have indexed, organized and tabbed folders of everything readily available with simple, easy to understand summaries. The government's attorney was actually shocked. Also I cleared everything ethically with the board in advance and they said I could/should/may actually be required to do it.
