I got a 95 on this week's Greek test, and at least a 95 on all previous tests so far this term. Turns out, the reason my grade's sitting at a cool 92 is that my brain shorts on quizzes. That's good, since my prof will drop my worst five quizzes at the end of the term and I'll be sitting pretty on an A, but I suspect grade inflation or a weird grading policy on tests. That wasn't a 95 test. 85 or 86, maybe.

(I think what I'm really feeling ambivalent about is that there's so much material presented that it's silly to test people on anything more than the most common forms, assuming they can recognize the other ones- we're only learning to read Greek, after all. But I certainly don't know a full 95% of what's presented in the book, which is exhaustive.)

Probably the latter two, I'd think. I didn't believe her from the start, she's usually completely over-dramatic when it comes to illness.
Saying she'd had a bout of 'ebola' was just especially ridiculous, even by her standards.

I'm pretty sure you got that wrong. Ebola has a pretty high mortality rate, but quite a few people survive. Rabies is the one that only has very few survivors so far: How to cure rabies.
