guys i need to cut skin and i have no adequately sharp cutting implements

Place skin directly on cutting surface, rock knife on it. If you have a steak knife, just saw at it; the serration will give a ragged cut but it's much faster than a smooth knife. Both of these work for cutting through tendons and muscle epimysium, should do for skin.

Get you a Cutco knife with that special serrated edge they have. Mine is still sharp after like 5 years of moderate use.
