Gaiaonline was the main reason that I have above average English compared to other Thai people.
I was nearly incoherent back then since I do not know how to type and I do not know how to use the English language.

I had an old computer game about typing that I played like three tomes before stopping cause of how boring it was. I think I may have actually partially picked up typing here! That along with my 7th and 8th english papers.

I learned that all of my childhood games are on steam. On Steam!

:O I use to play Freddi Fish soooo much. I'm pretty sure I had the whole series.

I played this game a lot...

Seems obscure and meh if the amount of info on the web is to say anything of it :P

Honestly, I think it taught me...

Nothing :P

Hey, I discovered that just a few days ago! I tried to play that one game I happily played before (Wolverine Revenge) and then discovered that the controls in that game are terrible, the mouse is unresponsive and the level design is retarded. Ugh.

I played both Battlecry and Invasion, and Invasion was rather eh. Battlecry was alright considering what else I had at the time.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

My most memorable childhood games include Ratchet & Clank 3, Sly Cooper and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue (the one for the DS).
I played so much R&C3 multiplayer with my little brother, Sly Cooper had a demo version of R&C3 built in, and that only had one multiplayer map. We didn't even play online. Eventually we bought the full game :P

Man, I miss the PS2. That said, it's still in this house and still works, so I could really just go upstairs and play all of them again if I wanted to.

Did none of you go to school at a young age or something?
Was digging back through the thread to find where I left off, and saw this.
MH, did you learn to type in school? That's quite interesting, because I don't recall ever being encouraged to type. The school had computers, but we were expected to just kind of know how to use them.

Well, on the subject of where I learned to type; I first learned to type while playing Evony, don't play that now it is a spyware program disguised as a game. Then I got better by being on RP forums that had standards.

As for childhood games, the original Spyro trilogy, all of Ratchet and Clank, Silent Hill, multiple Zelda games, multiple Mario games, and Harvest Moon. Dear GOD I love those previous three titles.

I envy kids today, what with their Minecrafts and their MMOs.

When I wanted to play a video game at home I had to type in the code manually from a magazine; and it only lasted until we wanted to play another game or the power went out.

Praise the day we got one of these!
