Something keeps taking bites out of the avacados in the house overnight. We have no idea what it could be. Each day one of the avacados has a shallow chunk gouged out of it, and there's bits of avacado peels scattered all along the bottom of the basket.

Set up a camera trap. Or get a tall bucket, with plastic sides in which things can't climb. If you don't find the animal in the morning it probably can jump quite well.

If you really want to know and are willing to take a risk, inject the avocados with alcohol.

So, for the last week I've been working in this new restaurant filling in for sudden sickness of one of their staff and today was the last day, since his replacement came. Pretty girl, fresh out of school, who NEVER STOPS TALKING so I heard all about her new car and her makeup and boyfriends hairy back and how she doesn't "believe allergies are real" 

Well, that's one place where I'll never go to eat.
