I can NOT keep my monitor clean. No matter what I do (down to making sure I open my sodas (which were previously a known cause of the problem, as they tend to spray a little bit when opened) in ANOTHER ROOM -not the safest thing for your carpets when you live with an extremely active toddler-). I always have tiny specks of stuck on something that I'm almost afraid to remove due to fear of scratching the surface. Oddly, I never had this problem with FOAF or SOTR CRT monitors, which were much easier to clean and, more importantly, free.

So. I just got out of jail. Was in jail for five days over community service and suchlike.

I'm... Very tired of my life. I wanted to post about it in detail, but I just... Have no energy for it. My best friend is a scumbag, but oddly an amazing friend. His petty manipulations and narcissism are greatly abrasive to my soul though. My other friends... Are really distant. I have some pretty significant mental and emotional issues that really are beginning to bog me down and hurt me. All I want to do is sleep, and die.

I found out that there's a troll who is constantly trying to discredit the maker of Brutal Doom, and the WTF part is how this person's rhetoric is almost exactly the same as that of the one who is trying to discredit Cataclysm: DDA.

 Ah, internet. Complains, insults free content creators, ignores pleas to stop from people who understand what's really going on when they don't, gets the best things shut down.

Same thing happened to "No Need for Bushido," "Dungeon Crawl Inc," and to a lesser extent Archwood, and  Homestarrunner.com Because hey, ask him nothing but "how [does he] type with boxing gloves on his hands?" forever. That's something he can spin content out of for all time....

Fair point or not, I don't think it's the best of ideas to spread drama from one thread to another.

Hard to get a good understanding from just the few last pages, so I don't know what exactly happened here - but surely a free content creator can use criticism just as much as everyone else? Constructive such, mind you.

You know I'm just taking the link right out, because citation of sources doesn't matter with people's emotions for some reason. It's true that people can't be adults on the internet (or in real life). Human beings are insane, as a species. It's easy to tell what happened. He said it in black and white: he was criticized way too much. Because the internet doesn't criticize things....

No, the point is that for some reason people attack content creators and then try to call it "constructive criticism." It isn't constructive when you chase away the content creator. Forget that thread, it happens all the time. Free things aren't "good enough" for people. I cited four other examples.
