This is a trucker motel. There's a special lot out back for the tractor/trailers and everything.
Then again, it's also the only hotel for who knows how far, so I didn't even have an option. It was either stay here, or keep going an unknown distance hoping for better.

The upload speed is... well, horrible, but not as ridiculously horrible as the download speed.

the upload is about mine... at least my download is many times that I guess.

also, chrome adds on speedtest.net ... "try again with a faster browser" yeano the browser should have next to no effect on how fast your internet browsing is.

I met a girl last night who has Foreign Accent Syndrome, which is, apparently, a thing. She had a concussion, woke up and had a thick British accent from then on.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.

Yeah, she hates it. I made the mistake of asking where she was from, and I didn't believe the "foreign accent syndrome" thing for a few minutes. Once I finally realized she wasn't kidding I felt really bad.

Especially considering that she has to deal with that every. single. day.

yea, that would be the people still on dialup.

On a related topic: I bought a new docsis 3.0 modem and went from ~2 to 4 Mbps to over 25Mbps.
