Planned power outage at work. Whole building is dark, even most of the emergency lighting is dead because it's been 4 hours now. Except for our little hardened bunker in the building. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, while the heat is out in the rest of the building it's on overdrive in here. 90+ degrees Fahrenheit and full lighting. Outside the one entrance door, virtually pitch-black cube farms.

Went to go take a piss, lighting my way with my cell phone, and getting this feeling of "where have I seen this before, and why is it freaking me out?".

Then it hits me: OH MY GOD I'M IN EVERY SURVIVAL HORROR FPS EVER D: D: D:

Boss is here because of the outage, says "Hey, I think there's a heat cutoff lever up in the ductwork, see if you can find a way in there."

FUCK YOU MAN, I AIN'T GETTING MY FACE EATEN OFF

I work in an office building, but because of the type of work we do, it's a hardened "bunker" within the building. reinforced walls, ceilings, there's wire mesh in the drywall to disrupt electronic snooping, security doors, etc. Have to go through three security cardswipes just to get to my desk.

Not sure about the lever. Could be part of that whole "downsizing" we heard about. >_>
Or could just be lazy level design.

Almost done for the day, then I get the fun of navigating down a stairwell with only my tiny cell phone for light. And hopefully no zombies waiting for me, because my crowbar is in the car.
