I've been trying to normalize my sleep schedule. Previous attempts to cut back have failed due to lack of willpower, so I decided to tire myself out by staying up two days straight.

At first, it seemed to work; I was tired through most of the day and did fall asleep for minute at one point but I didn't actually go to sleep until 12. All according to plan.

Until I woke up at 5 am. And strangely enough, I wasn't tired after staying up for two days straight and then only getting five hours of sleep. But I wasn't really suspicious of the fact at the time. I was just like, "yeah, that's a little weird, but maybe this is just how my body works now."

But I didn't think anything of it, I just passed time in the morning. But, eventually I got bored, because the morning is boring unless you actually have something to you want or need to do at that time (and, as someone who just spent the previous day unlocking stuff in Lego Lord of the Rings to stay awake, I obviously am not one of those people). So eventually, around 9 am or so, I got bored, and decided to take a nap.

I woke up a 5:30 pm.

My WTF of the day? Seeing this and remembering that when I was 6 or 7, I played that game and thought that spinning like that was a legitimately good fight move. It worked for me the only two occasions I used it. Until I realized how fucking stupid it was. Then I just wrestled and fist fought like every other nine year-old boy.

I can't believe I forgot about that.
