It probably is fake.

1: The sound seems reasonable, even small quad copters make some racket, and this one needs to carry a 10+ lb payload.

2: that "100 round magazine smg" wasn't real. It was nothing but a railed tactical forgrip with a muzzle tip sticking out. No magazine there. Now, it could have been an airsoft gun with a hundred pellets, but I don't think that counts.

It went backwards like a half dozen feet every time it fire, at least on the hillside - I wasn't looking for recoil after that.

unless the vector of recoil was exactly through the center of mass of the vehicle it would have caused a noticeable rotational vector. Same reason that many guns tend to hop up, the recoil falls along a line that does not intersect its center of mass (there is the other issue of the vector of recoil also not intersecting the joint at the wrist, but that isn't relevant at the moment).

This is one of the reasons people like the P-90. Having its magazine over the barrel creates a more even distribution of weight and reduces that hop up effect.
