Been wondering about the legality and safety of hunting Canadian Geese for food. A flock of them flew over my head in what I would describe as a carpet-bombing formation(thankfully I wasn't their target), and I imagine I could reduce my food costs slightly. I believe they're labeled as a "pest animal" and possibly "al-Quaida sleeper agents" for their launching of suicide attacks against commercial airlines, so I doubt wildlife officials would complain if I thin their ranks a bit. The problem might come from the fact they have a tendency to flock around the local school, so that using a gun, even my airgun, would be far from legal.
