So it's because of that drama. Has one of them seriously not gotten over that after all this time? I went into the IRC fairly shortly after it all happened, they actually seemed reasonably chill; they weren't happy, but they weren't being childish about it (well, Dasleah was, but he's Dasleah, so it's kinda par for the course.

If you compare it to other communities out there, we are by no means the worst.
But probably not the best, either.

But i have heard stories from some old members (chutulu) that there used to be only 200 people or so here, and then a popularity wave came, so i can see that this placed used to be more cozy (but i'm not sure how much i can trust my memory). But hell, i didnt know that, so i dont give a fuck, i like it now too <3

No, they got here relatively late, I'm pretty sure it was well after I got here, and well after VN got shut down. IIRC, they were a bunch of asshats who deserved their bans.

And yeah; his previous sockpuppet accounts are also for posting that image.

In light of the general apathy given to Shock, it does bring to light the issue - is modern media too messed up that anyone in the modern age has become desensitized to real tragedies? Every time something along those lines happens it turns into a media debacle and rarely anything more.
