FLAGGED FOR TERRORISM.

So, as for my WTF, I downloaded a physics toy/game/thing called Powder Toy, and the next day it took me three tries to start my computer, and it was running at snail-speed. Deleting Powder Toy has mostly fixed the issue.

But now Windows Media Player won't run my Stargate SG-1 DVD's.   :'(

Have you tried using a less picky media player? I wouldn't be able to play half the stuff on here with just WMP alone.

I find Direct-X Media Player is rather OK. Gomplayer is nice but too resource-heavy.

My pop station on Pandora that's mostly 21st century female pop singers has started playing 70's rock. I am perplexed, but they're all good songs so eh, might as well go with the flow.

Agreed. Especially twice. Replace Gaga with Kansas ("Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind"), Regina Spektor with Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla", KT Tunstall with Boston's "More Than a Feeling", and Lily Allen with Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song", and you've got yourself a pretty rockin' list. I'd even go as far as to replace the Killers (I don't know that particular song, please withhold judgment.) with Deep Purple's "Lazy".
