It's a bad idea; any gung-ho modification made by oneself on one's own brain or done without a great level of expertise in the subject matter is about as stupid as thinking they can perform surgery on one's self after buying a scalpel while having no previous training.

Aside from that, it isn't actually very high tech. It's just a series of electro-magnets which induce a current in your brain. Which means it's literally just coils of wire. Assuming of course it is actually intended to do what it is said to. Edit: Wrong type of stimulation; this method uses the even more primitive technique of simply sending electrical current through your brain.

my dad got an E-mail off of someone claiming to be a nigerian cousin of a guy stuck on the ISS for 14 years, needing $3000000 to get him off of it.

I'm sorely tempted to start a blatantly obvious/funny scam E-mails thread.

I am not sure whatever it was serious scam attempt. It sounds like result of "lulz, password to the server controlling this botnet is 123456. LOL11!!!1".

Well there's my WTF of the day because I use these forums pretty much every day.

I know that this sort of thing can be easily done in blender, but that's about it for me.

Its actually probably the result of somone pretending to be a scammer and passing on his amazing script that gives him hundreds of dollars a day. Yes, that happens quite a lot.
