Two questions:
1) Should e-sports be treated differently than regular sports?
2) Should the gender division in other sports be abolished?

1. Of course
2. Not if we are talking individual based, physically demanding sports like athletics. Other than that, yeah, why not. I'd love to see (more) mixed team based sports out there.

I remember when a woman complained that she wasn't allowed to go for the Men's league in Tennis. So after getting enough support they let her, and she lost all 100 of her games.

My opinion on that was... It was nice that they gave her a chance at least.

I dunno about that, but there's a funny little anecdote of the Williams sisters feeling confident that they could beat any bloke from the 200s down, so they arranged a match against a German at #203 called Karsten who had drunk before playing, done no prep and didn't even warm up; beat them both consecutively 6:1, 6:2

but other than that, it is indeed pretty stupid.

also, the american qualifiers for the competition i mentionen earlier does allow women, and there is at least one really good one that I know of

A black bag. I think it's cotton or something, I don't really know, though it's definitely not a throwaway bag. I think I'm the only one with a bag that isn't a shopping bag or a purse.
