Greet everyone you come across and act like you've known them for a long time. Make sure to compliment them.
Hold the door for people really far away, and try to get them to hurry up through the door.
Get into an elevator, and make sure to face any wall but the door.
Go into a restaurant and try to eat on the floor instead of at a table. It says that you can bring picnic supplies for this one.
Stare at a random thing, it can be anything, and get as many people as you can to stare at it as well.

You should totally dress up as the Grand Galactic Inquisitor and walk around yelling at people to ignore you and go about their earthly business while starting at them.

I completely agree with this.  Just watch out for time traveling fathers with ray guns.

I'm not quite sure how possible that would be. I mean, some would likely break when thrown, and I'm sure some will get taken by the peasants.

(If your teacher complains that you didn't OK it with her, explain that that since she is as much a part of the experiment group as anyone else, informing her would cause biases in the data.
