Best Mudish/Moo game- Cybersphere. (Better than HellMoo).
« on: October 18, 2010, 07:43:33 am »

http://cs.netsville.com/

Basically the best Mudish game ever.  VERY STEEP learning curve- however the possibilities are limitless really.  It's Cyberpunk setting- so bleak future with corporate control of the world.  The system has been added too for literally 20 years- the only problem?  Hardly anyone around these days- like 30 people.  With 100+ this game is the best bar none.  Oh- and there's permadeath...and cloning..and a fully working matrix system..and a fully working medical/cyberware system..and much, much more.

EDIT- Put 'Better than HellMoo'- basically CyberSphere was made before HellMoo- and HellMoo was made from some programmer from CS.  CS has a lot deeper systems.  Believe it.
(No coded rape though..weirdos).

Sounds kinda interesting but shouldn't this be in 'other games'?

Playing as a guest right now, seems a bit laggy but not too bad.

EDIT: Ok, new question, is there a map or something since I have a really bad sense of direction. :-\

There is a map on the website somewhere but it's slightly old.  Streets are correct though.  Eventually you just memorize everything of course- and the guest zone is pretty tiny compared to the real game.

EDIT- And there's a wiki- don't know how much is in there: http://cs.netsville.com/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=cybersphere

Can you just press -m or something? It has been 8 or 9 years since I played that game.

It comes up every once in a while but seems to be generally panned by the community here. I think it is because we had ad bot problems. I had fun in the game, even created a new account 3 or 4 years ago. Wrote up a really nice character history, submitted, got approved, went to create a character and got asked for a character history. I wanted to use the one I had already written, but they said that was impossible. My account closed before I came up with a better idea.

That is weird, you should be able to use a history if you haven't used it yet.

It wasn't a matter of the old "This person already exsisted", basically they didn't save it and I didn't save it. It was more my own fault than anyone else's but it was, nonetheless, enough to end my short run at returning.

Ah- that's too bad.  Game is very deep and it's fun as heck- I've quit and come back to it about six times, just can't seem to leave once you play.  This is over like 8 years.  Just having a game that you can do pretty much anything is too good to pass up.  And they're always adding stuff.  The only thing missing is a few hundred more people.

There was in fact already a thread about this game, of the exact same style, IE "GET ON THIS GAME IT IS BETTER THAN WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING".
