Pnx and Fayrik are both wrong. You have to spread the butter on before you toast it.

Seriously, though. Try it. My toast experience changed forever.
I do that anyway, becouse I have a Super Fridge that makes the butter solid and I can't spred it before the toast cools, and my family insists on keeping the butter in said Super Fridge all the time.

Oh my god. Please never tell me your family's details; I might just accidentally maybe kill them all with a block of butter.

I have found the best way is to put the slices of butter on top of the bread slice, then put that slice of bread on a pan. the bread becomes crispy and crunchy on one side, and soft and juicy on the other. it's wonderful.

Techno. I can't dance and would never be caught dead in a club, but there's just something about synthetic music that appeals to me. Even going back to the cheesy 80's synth-rock (another guilty pleasure).

And the only toast worth eating is toast with butter and cinnamon and sugar on it.

I gotta agree with Fayrik; melted butter on lightly done toast is sublime. I'm not sure why, but melting butter just makes it taste so much better.

I have my toast with just butter.

Procrastinating, techno, teddy bears and pens to name a few.

I spend most of my time on IRC roleplaying.

Roleplaying is nice thing, especially when it's creative and detailed one.

I do it too, a lot.

eggs on my toast

Same here.

I usually live on a diet of eggs, toast, instant noodles, junk food and whatever my sister makes for dinner. >_>

I'm more diverse in my toast choices.

...

Really interwebs? A discussion on how you like your toast? This is madness.

*Captain Ironblood bursts through the wall* 'Madness? THIS! IS! BAY 12!!! *Kicks me down a well*

Anyway, toasted peanut butter and banana sammichs are good for breakfast, as is toast with nutella or an omlette on toast. Lightly toasted toast with melted butter and strawberry jam?

*Shudders* Delicious.
