Entry 3Success! The miners have found a dry area through which we can reach the precious stone below our feet. The area is limited and these aquifers seem to reach down to 11 floors below ground. I've asked the miners to be careful while they excavate, but my dreams are filled with images of a careless fool breaching the aquifer above and drowning our hopes.
Entry 4Herds of beak dogs continue to pass by the entrance to our fort, eyeing the doors that seal them out as though they know something more than they let on. We must create a more substantial barrier, but for that we must wait for these abominations to pass.
Somehow, others have heard about our outpost and
decided to join us. These foolish immigrants may be daft, but they are also useful. We number 18 now and sport a fledgling militia of 4 stalwart dwarfs.
Entry 5The year has come and gone and we remain alive. Our toehold in this land is tenuous, but for now we are secure.
But this land is not done with us. No. The evil, like water from these damned aquifers, seeps out of every stone, every slope, and every tree. I hope the barriers of our souls can keep this effluence at bay and that we may remain righteous in the eyes of Armok.
I fear that we may not...
And with that my turn is done. I took way longer than I like, sorry to everyone who's waiting.
Here is the
save and the
map with POIs.
Whoever is next should be very
very careful about digging. There's about 9 levels of aquifer just waiting to flood the fort.
