Request Completed: Cardboard wargame miniature
« on: September 22, 2010, 11:09:57 am »

Not a game, but in another thread on this forum (the proxies thread) I posted some images of guys I made a few years ago. Someone requested I make a new one.

So I did, and here it is.

Meet Ishnar.

In one hand, his rifle. In the other, his flamethrower. What more could an orc need?

Some pictures of his flamethrower in action...

And for size comparison, here is Ishnar next to an eggplant (complete with nose, jesters cap, and sunglasses)

Obviously, he's a bit too large for 40k, which was going to be his initial purpose, but ah well.

Thank you!

List of components:
Cardboard sheet
Egg Carton
3 q-tips
1x sheet printer paper
1x Paper plate (for flame)
paint
dab of clay stolen from one of my clay mushrooms

I wonder if this should have been posted in the creative projects sub-forum... nah. Noone likes those guys anyways.

I'd like to see a Adeptus Mechanicus figurine like that. Complete with extra mechanical limbs and a half-mask with a glowing red eye. @.@'' That'd be awesome.

I've always had a softspot for technical engineering, and love the Cult of the Machine in WH40K.

Mushrooms made of clay or mushrooms that make clay?

Kinda depends on the size.
Getting detailed mech arms and a diode to light those eyes without demanding expensive materials and tools is harsh(diode is impossible if it does not fit inside the head :P ).

Doesn't need to be moveable or anything, and while a diode for eyes would be cool, it isn't a prerequisite.
