Eversion!

Let's play this cute little game, called Eversion!

Download here!

What could be more fun than this cute little platformer?

If you end up playing/have played the game, any discussion should be in spoilers! There's a lot of story to this game, and we don't want to spoil it, do we?

Yeah, the end was great, and the puzzles were fun. Any spoiler will spoil the game, unfortunately, in my opinion, so future players: Do Not Read Any Spoilers.

(Also, for discussion here, I reccomend that we take advantage of naming spoilers to give

Spoiler: etc. (click to show/hide)

so that people who want to know what is in a spoiler but don't want to spoil the game know what spoilers are most dangerous to their potential experience and can decide how much to ruin it for themselves.)

I got frustrated trying to get all the gems and just hacked the save file instead. Easiest thing in the world.

The true ending is so cute :)

How did you hack your save file, I've got it opened up in a hex editor but can't make heads or tails of it. Maybe I'm just not savvy enough.

Make a backup of your current save, find a gem, and then compare the saves.

This game was epic.  Wasn't it from one of those two-week game design competitions or something?  True example of what happens when someone with programming talent gets a creative idea, and doesn't overcomplicate.

So cheerful and happy, a wonderful choice to give to young children.
Great game, but getting some of the last gems is just brutal.

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

The true ending is the most touching ending I have ever witnessed.

This game should come with a warning:

"Beware, for the thing you should fear is not anything metaphysical but the clunky controls and distinct aversion to regular checkpoints."
