So, I picked it up cheap earlier this week, I've always been a fan of Bloodbowl but never played the board game. I did however play the original BB game on dos. Its time to do a campaign!!

I'll be naming the players after bay12 people (those who comment here, if not enough, randomly gleaned from the forum), and the team will be called 'The Baywatchers' - unless anyone has a better idea

Beware, potential players can and will be: maimed, mashed, stamped on, knifed, pummeled and killed.

I agree, if we have a dwarf-only group we'll probably run into team balance problems later.
This way, if our team does lose, we have someone we can sacrifice to relieve stress.

If more people want orcs, sure, but I'm pretty resigned to Dwarves winning the popularity battle on this forum

Dwarfs are ideal Blood Bowl players, being compact, tough, well-armoured and having a stubborn knack of refusing to die ! Most successful Dwarf teams work to the principle that if they can massacre all the other team's best players and wear down the rest, then there won't be anybody left to stop them scoring touchdowns !
