The end of a chapter is always a good excuse for some rambling bullshit, so here we go.
Thanks all for the kind words throughout the first chapter. Seriously. I was quite prepared for complete and unanimous disinterest. I was kind of hoping for more constructive criticism, but I guess it is what it is, and something like this doesn't really lend itself to
serious critique. They're fun to make, and practice is practice, even if you're not stretching your skills to their absolute limit. I always feel like the pacing is kinda slow, the art inconsistent, and some pages admittedly humourless, but in retrospect...two dozen comics in less than a month. That helps make up for it, I think. And they're quick and fun to make, so fuck it, I guess is what I'm saying. Or I just don't know what I'm saying. Just rambling bullshit.
One arbitrary chapter down, on to the next one.
That gym leader made the most puns per sentence I have heard in many an age. Good on you.
I had more, but I was going to run out of room
I will, uh...try and lay off the bad puns now. I think that got it out of my system.
Oh the faces, you gotta love those faces.
I had so much fun drawing Baldurs expression the first time that I just decided he's
never allowed to change it. He can just tilt his head and move his eyebrows. And that is why he's my favourite. He is intense ALL THE TIME.
Yea, this comic is awesome. You shuld get a place and make it an actual webcomic.
Hey, it's an
actual webcomic! It's unarguably a comic, and how are you reading it? YOU ARE READING IT ON THE WEBS, AREN'T YOU? No, it would be pretty easy to make a website for it, or at least a SmackJeeves account or something, but then I'd have to take it seriously. You see my dilemma. Trying is the first step on the road to failure.
