Why did we lose our motion sensing? Grow it back!

Get some anti poison cells so we can eat what we kill.

We already have that. (The poison cells have to be immue to their own poisons, right?

I love how BLOB is a stage... we are really going at this flow-blown realistically...

Well, more realistically than Spore at least.

Why did we lose our motion sensing? Grow it back!

We lost it due to the fact that we have no central nevous system to interpet it.

You specialize a cell that has a lot more chloroplasts than the others. While you would expect to produce more food, the cell other cells lose their chloroplasts as well. Meh, it would just hold you back anyways.

Specialized cells:
Body cells: Lean
Poison cells: Weak Poison
Green cells: Improved Chloroplasts (+1 food a turn)

Organs:
Poison tentacles: Made out of poison cells. Better chance to poison things.

Time to hunt! You don't really get anything. Oh well your green cells can support you.

After many unsuccessful attempts at hunting, you hit the jackpot, another blob in the middle of dividing. You poison tentacles make short work of it.

You go up a size.

Yes, and make rudimentary ganglia. This should allow us to interpret sensory data. Also, if possible make hyphae.

Add a reproductive virus type parasite to the poison in our tentacles, so that if we poison something but don't eat it, small blobs will grow inside the corpse and burst forth with the joy of parent hood.

It's time, to reproduce.

No new cells or organs, but you can improve two cell or organs. (No ganglia for you!)

You improve the poison cells. It should be much more effective, but is still not advanced enough for a reproductive virus. At least no yet.

One more improvement left.

Improve something to get closer to ganglia.
