The alien has unmatched strength, speed and agility
Subjective.
No matter how much fighting skill you have then you really won't be able to kill (or even injure) the alien simply due to the fact that it has rock hard armour and is the strongest creature in the universe!
Subjective.
Short of anime style fighters (or mabey some sci fi), alien is better in melee combat in every way then a regular human (or cathuman), its faster, stronger, has rock hard skin, sharp claws, and even if you DO manage to injure it, your weapon will break and corrode, so you couldn't harm it a second time.
Would Razor be smart enough to camo himself?
Also, I think that the alien has a clear advantage in stealth, at least at night.
The way I think of this matchup is of Razor as a glass cannon, powerful but breakable, with the xenomorph as a fragile speedster/lightning bruiser, fast and strong, but goes down to moderate firepower.
It this close, or completely incorrect?
Camo would be completely useless, alien senses electrical impulses or something, camo wouldn't be able to cover it up.
xenomorph isn't fragile at all, as anything that would kill it would kill a human a few times over, but razor's long range weapons would be able to kill it fairly easily.
Guys, I'm pretty sure the SEVA Suit sets the gold standard in the competition for NBC suits. It doesn't impede Strelok's movement. Ergo, Razor can bring something just as good and not have his movement impaired. Agreed?
Er, don't think so because its from a different game, real world stuff isn't that good, because the SEVA suit is designed for something that isn't in the real world. And if Razor was fighting anyone besides the alien, no one would even have brought up him wearing a evo suit, since its pretty clearly good only for this fight. People say that it doubles as armor but if thats the case, so does armor and without causing perception problems.
In a case of +1 to everything but +5 verses werewolves, versus +5 to everything, but -10 against Aliens(werewolf?) any sane person would (unless they know they are fighting werewolves), chose the second option, because its pretty clearly better in 98% of cases.

Bullshit, citation needed.

You would choose the armor you know to be most effective - he would choose the +1/+5 armor because it has no drawbacks save that of being slightly less effective against other opponents.
Lets run a cost-benefit analysis:
one would give +1.1 on average (the one you think razor would pick), the other would give +4.7 on average. The drawback of the first is that its less effective against EVERYTHING but one opponent. The second on the other hand is more effective against everyone but one opponent.
If you know you are fighting the opponent that its effective against then you would pick it for sure, otherwise (less then about a 25% chance of fighting it) you would pick the second.
And what do you need a citation on? the 98% figure?
