This thread made me start playing Digimon World again Currently with a drilagamon or whatever it is called. The drill digimon ^^
The game is both awesome and horribad, seeing how you can basically get your ass kicked by a digimon who'm you have defeated multiple times before without any trouble, you have no idea what you're supposed to do and in the beginning, food is a bitch

This thread inspired me to start playing again too, though I had to stop once school started.

My first champion was a Meramon (fire guy) who was completely awesome. Then I had an Elecmon who really really wanted to become a Numemon, but I managed to savescum him into a Bakemon (ghost) after multiple tries. Third was a Whamon (whale) who might've been awesome except I never managed to get it to learn any usable attacks besides its (really awful) starter one until just before it died. I think I have someone else now but I can't remember.

It's cool since I've gotten further than I ever have before. I actually really like the recruiting mechanic, since the town gets more built up and useful as you progress.

I really like the V-pet aspect of Digimon (and have a bunch of imported ones to show it), so I've always wished they'd make more games in the line of Digimon World that really played it up. Probably the closest I've played was D-project, which had a lot of neat ideas but was very flawed. It was for WonderSwan, the failed Gameboy competitor.

I Recall this beacuse while playing it my digimon never evolved... Instead he just became a Pimped out blue dude ((Forgot the name))... With a Extremly powerful sword, And I think a Really high level...

Actually I may have beat the game... Without evolveing >_<
