I should state that it is a good idea to have occasional "Money Runs" with your Digimon (or rather focus almost exclusively on cash).

It is much too easy to simply ignore enemies and not earn a shred of cash.

Also Poop is pretty good if you have the moves.

The worst thing about poop is GETTING the moves though, with a training decrease (Decreases the power of training) and having weaknesses to all attacks means you will have to be extremely powerful and lucky to get the moves.

There are places to get the Poop moves (just two)

One is from a giant piece of poop

The other is just from Intelligence training luck

Still though, though once you have the good poop moves you don't feel so weak. (though I tended to get lucky and unlock the good poop moves early)

Actually there's 3 places and I don't remember getting any filth moves from a giant turd.

Place 1 is factorial town, you need Whamon in the city to get to it and the PlatinumSukamon you get the filth moves from are very dangerous. Place 2 Trash Mountain: The geremon there can give you filth moves if you manage to beat one. Place 3 is intelligence training.

Still deciding whether I should restart or not. Probably will, since it's really only about an hour or less of actual playtime.
On the other hand, I still have a save to before fighting Palmon, at the start of the day. I could instead spend the time before Digivolving pushing Gabumon's head against a rock trying to get stats up high enough to avoid Numemon.

If the second question says "Do you have friends?" Say  yes and if the second question says "Do you like day or night?" pick day. You will get Agumon which is much better. Try to get at least 5 battles so he dosen't turn into something that can eat 30 giant meats and still be hungry.

Here are the stats for Greymon. He is pretty hard to get. DO NOT have high discipline or he'll evolve into Centaramon. A mediocre digimon.

Haha I remember this game when I was younger. I couldn't get it to evolve into anything but the green and yellow poo eating digimons.
