It's next to the disband button when you look at an army I believe.

That's not a hotkey, that's a button.  And it's very aggravating to load 20 different regiments that way.

Before you ask... the reason why you want to load 20 different regiments rather then gather them and load them at once is that it is much, much faster to gather them by sea.

Sorry that's my fault I meant to write button instead of hotkey. Pretty tired.

Anyone else get the feeling that most of this DLC should have been in the original game?

It doesn't help that some mods have similar features.

Personally, I prefer the previous expansion.  But hey, Sword of Islam should be on sale by the time the new one is released, so that is something to look forward to!

I'd even speculate that Sword of Islam will likely go on sale exactly one week prior to Rome Expansion, as hype for the new expansion.

This would be a day 1 buy, if not for the fact that Steam somehow claims I no longer own SoI DLC >.>

But, its not a paid for DLC. Its a free expansion.

Consider for five seconds that maybe they couldn't put those features in the final game because of Time and money restrictions.

Nope. Anything having anything to do with Orthodox countries were beyond the scope of the original release (just like in the original game). The original content were only supposed to portrait French, German and Norman-English feudal systems. The rest of Catholic Europe had vastly different customs but have to do with what they got.

Even after verifying the cache?

I can't verify anything. Steam claims I still have games running in the background.

It doesn't say that anywhere because it isn't true. It's DLC that will cost $10.

open taskmanager and look for a game-related process that's still lingering around for no reason, and close it. Should solve that, I think.

That or reboot.  That always happened to me with the L4D level editor, sometimes with some other game.

Loading multiples units into boats is really a pain. Is there a shortcut to drag-select only boats and not armies?

The only thing I can think of is to first select one ship unit, then use shift+drag-select. That will only select ships.

Unles it was ctrl instead of shift. I'm uncertain now that I think of it.

Just now read about the Byzantine/Orthodox DLC. My happy is full of yays. Dunno why, but I've always had a soft spot for Orthodoxy, both in CK and in real life.

Maybe I'll grab both DLCs as a birthday present to myself when LoR comes out.

w00t!! My Patriarch of Alexandria can beat up your Patriarch of Kiev!  :D

Loving the factional system too, if it works properly. Individual nobles are easy to whack. It's the coalitions that are a problem. Ideally, something like this could lead to more War of the Roses-style conflicts if you have a succession crisis and two big factions, each with their own candidate with a strong claim. Good fit for the Byzantines, too. Lots of factional conflict in their history.

Does the factional system work with non-Byzantine powers?
