Cassandra hears and feels something odd up ahead. She pads along after Jaume. It sounds like... barking. Barking and screaming.

The beast suddenly drops to its haunches and growls!

Elizabeth stands up, stretching languorously. She coaxes Igor into accepting the box of shotgun shells, and the suit reluctantly accepts, holding them by her hip. She hefts the shotgun and heads out.

Oof, this is getting heavy. (-1 to movement rolls)


Current Situation


North lies the road onward, to the left is a row of houses, to the right is a stream.

The road stretches further ahead, and the dead streetlights provide no illumination as the sun dies. Cassandra is hit with a sense of dread as they walk north. Her hypersensitive ears detect malicious intent in the air.

Or rather, from the houses to the left.

Lying in ambush, two Claw Beasts leap out of the bushes and face the party! Cecilia's new friend rears back and growls at them.

There is a yelp, and a crashing sound, as a third Claw Beast makes its entry, hurled to the ground by a massive manlike creature that is now steadily approaching, much like the one Pierre killed at the base! It wielding a lamppost and is accompanied this time by a similarly huge, simian creature.

One of the big things has been wounded, presumably by the Claw Beasts. Now, the two giants face the assembled foes and wonder what they are supposed to do...
