A chunk of ice 100 miles square and 700 feet thick broke off of Greenland.  It's floating loose around the ocean and slowly disintegrating.  Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA) had his own take on the matter.

And we'll have big Waterworld style windmills for power, and satellite Internet, and giant computer servers to pirate the shit out of stuff so we can really be pirates, and I'll have an awesome steering wheel where the waves break in your face.  The wheel won't actually do anything, because you can't really steer a glacier, but it's vital for dramatic Captain poses and stuff.
