Don't look at me like that. I could call it a "lengthy hiatus" because the chances of starting this back up in a few months are high. I just have too much on my plate right now, and I was getting pretty burnt out. I was looking over my nost for this session, and it was basically "kill the party. If they survive, kill them this way." Nobody would have liked that.

Hey, he never described what Cerrad looked like. He just said 'sneaky, and with levels in Rogue and Swashbuckler.'. Thus comes the New Orleans Gentlerogue. Possibly the best hands I've ever drawn. Not to mention that sick 'stache.

I'm not much of an artist myself, but whenever I see that picture of Cerrad, I always want to draw him how *I* think he looks... and then my initiative goes away because of THE GODDAMN MOUSTACHE. When it REALLY comes down to it, my biggest complaint about Cerrad's picture is that he isn't wearing his haversack... to the contrary, he almost never takes it off.

I know someone who purposefully keeps his moustache looking like that, and we all have a good-natured laugh about it all the time.

I'll try and redo his portrait by the next game, and maybe I can do some portraits of the other characters. What would you like me to change, other than having him hold his haversack?

A game Sunday night (after the Super Bowl) looks possible, so if you want we can plan for that. Don't be too upset if I'm late or have to cancel, though.

wooooooooooo!

So...

Hrm.  For now:

Orange Ioun Stone (30,000 gp), Deep Red Ioun Stone (8000), Pink and Green Ioun Stone (8000), Circlet of Persuasion (4500), Lyre of Building (13500), Dove's Harp (12,100), Vest of Legends (16000), Bag of Holding II (5000)

Price Check?  I didn't get one earlier.

...And Im not sure why I didn't ask earlier, but can I toss these sorcerer levels and rebuild a sensible character now that I have been polymorphed again?  They're kind of... bad for me.

Yeah, you can ditch those sorcerer levels that I forgot about right after giving them.

Orange Ioun Stone (1143 GD), Deep Red Ioun Stone (305), Pink and Green Ioun Stone (305), Circlet of Persuasion (172), Lyre of Building (514), Dove's Harp (461), Vest of Legends (610), Bag of Holding II (80)

Not going to be able to run a game tonight. Game is Friday.

Oh, awesome.

Anyway... I'll be stealing 60 PDs from the group to get that, assuming no one cares.  One or two more if I need to buy feed for my Dragon.  After that?  Switching between playing songs to earn money and researching the war and weapons at the library.

Woo, I'm broke!

Bardic Lore or Knowledge skill. (I did notice your declaration, 'rouke. I just want to handle all that at once.) I'm goinmg to assume that you take 20 whenever possible. (Can you take 20 on Bardic Lore?)

Taking twenty generally requires a situation in which you can repeat the roll. To the best of my knowledge you cannot repeat the roll unless you have a new source of knowledge. Maybe you could take twenty if you were at a major bardic event, such as the annual festival to Banjo, the god of bards and jesters, you would have enough lore floating around that you could repeat the check at will...

Banjo, the god of bards and jesters

I see what you did there.

I'll allow that 19, but I'm a bit wary of it, simply because I don't know how many times you rolled it.

Anyone else want to make any skill checks during the (now three) weeks?
