The new spells worry me... One spell to render a cleric completely immune to arcane magic without blocking any of their own buffs? Turn off Greater Dispel magic but leave everything else intact? And when choosing three categories, does it block spells that match all categories or any categories?

Any, but it's not as exteme as it may sound. YOu can turn off both arcane and divine magic, making it a crappy antimagic field. You can turn off two spell levels and one energy type, or things like that.

You could turn off high-level magic and prep lower level and metamagiced spells in higher-level slots...

Doesn't work that way, at least for metamagic. Any metamagic spell uses the level of the spell slot it uses for the purpose of the antispell field.

Really? I thought that a maximised fireball wouldn't bypass a globe of invulnerability unless it was also heightened...

I meant for this spell. At least, I intended it to be based off the spell slot level to avoid bypassing the field with metamagic.
