Yeeeah... There was this one day I think I crashed all things metal and all things spushal. Sold over 100k of weapon/armor and over 100k of artifacts. All thanks to 4 orders that all hit the same day.

You can exploit those really easily. Orders don't have a price limit, so you can sell the most expensive crap you have.

One the first day you crash the sweet market. Then you use the low prices to stock up on sweets while at the same time crashing another market. Repeat.

Ah, Economics.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

They do actually, But as with all other sales their limit increases.
I must have been quite unlucky lately then, as I am on my second loop and haven't had any day with many customers yet.

Again, the more specialized in atmosphere your store is, the more specialized your customer base. For the most customers, aim for a balanced atmosphere.

Seems you didn't read the part where I was talking about shop atmosphere ;P

Also, I only had to do 1 loop and I got 700k at the last week, pretty easy.

So I changed the walls and tables to heretical, and the floor to red and carpet to fancy. Now I'm at complete dark/gaudy and I kind of like the look. But absolutely nobody will enter the store. Is there some way to remedy this? Or do I have to stick to walls and floors that I don't like?   ???

Wow.

Housewife comes in, asks for a beef bowl that's on display.  I sell it to her at 115%.

Another housewife asks, immediately afterwards, to sell a beef bowl (Apparently a family heirloom).  Sells for 56%.

Immediately afterwards, ANOTHER housewife asks for some food.  Beef bowl was the most expensive thing I had, so...

I've noticed that almost all of the people bringing in heirlooms bring food.  If it was just food every once in a while it would be fine, but I think there has only ever been one non-food item as an heirloom.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

But in all fairness... it's still kinda funny.

I've been trying to get to the end of the month without having to 'loop'. Since it's my first game, I made a few mistakes early on, and now I'm stuck unable to achieve my goal. :(

Well... not completely unable, but my god, I sure didn't leave myself much of a chance. I need to make 200k in a few days. I have the third dungeon unlocked, but I never find anything worth selling.

I was SO CLOSE to doing it today. I was up to ~180k, it was late evening, and everyone just wanted to sell me their goddamned candy and apples. Plus there was this one guy who came in with a vague message that I didn't properly read, so I didn't know whether he was selling or buying. I decided he was buying. Turns out he was selling. I COULD HAVE MADE THAT EXTRA 20K FROM HIM AND SUCCEEDED! :'(

I once shot a bear in the eye with a bow on the first shot, cut it up, found another one, and shot it in the eye too. The collective pile of meat weighed more than my house.
