Yeah. We have a HAT! I would be all for fighting gentleman if I thought we stood a chance. But we don't. With a lucky shot we might hit a weakpoint. More likely? He would block with the claw then decapitate us. Effortlessly. For all his personality, Gentleman still asks like a robot, unlike AG. He's faster and more efficient than us, and would end the fight in an instant.

(also: after this meeting with the Doctor, we should dive into one of the giant orb things. I dunno why.)

I say we relinquish the sword to Gentleman so we can get past him and speak with Dr. Feringus. More of Scree's kind will die if we don't stop her soon.

He doesn’t move. “Advancing on me? Oho! Awfully threatening coming from such a historically dangerous robot, you know! Your damaged memory chip might just be scratching the surface of your malfunction. Who knows how unbalanced you are?”

He stares at you darkly. “Seems to me that the thing an honest, morally upstanding robot assistant would do is make sure such a potential glitch gets resolved.”

Although we should probably take a lesson from him in how he's circumventing his instructions, since we're probably going to have to do that pretty soon.

Also, tell him that he is the aggresive one, as he have his weapon at ready (claw) while we do not.

Throw the sword away but keep track of where it goes so we can retrive it later. Point out you indeed have been sumoned liek somone sugested above.

Ok how abaut this: we throw it in such a way it looks like we're throwing it away, but in fact it'll bounce back from somehting and return to our hand when he has his guard down?

He has convinced himself that there is a problem with us. If he believes this then we have to take the defensive.

The thing is, if we attack he is going to block it with his hand.

If we attack, we should attack with our whip first, then attack with our sword. This way we can force him to claw on the whip.


If we do use the whip (and since we our experts at using it. We should attack his lower left leg in a attempt to toss him off the platform. If he bends down to stop the whip with his metal claw, we attack while he is in this position.

I was thinking more along the lines of this legendary champion, all clad in dented and dinged up steel plate, his blood-drenched axe slung over his back, a notch in the handle for every enemy that saw the swing of that blade as the last sight they ever saw, a battered shield strapped over his arm... and a fluffy, pink stuffed hippo hidden discretely in his breastplate.

Yeah, definitely don't throw the sword away. I suggest we keep trying to talk to him, though. Wait for him to attack first. And when he does, try to knock him off the walkway.
