well first off

A warlord who's also a shopkepper

and there were several empty buildings, the size of shops but nothing was in them and noone went in them.

Sounds like the town was depopulated in war. This guy's probably the town's priest too.

i so beleive that in a town, anyone could become a shopkeeper besides children. the same also aplies in preists, but they get renamed appropriately, or inappropriately in the case of the high crab or the 'something' cat. both apearing at some point in certain saves.
also note that unocupied buildings will not refill with stuff, nor get taken down.

Uh, that would be Kein's tileset, to be used with Plac1d's graphics. It's 8x12, i found it looking for a tileset supplement for Plac1d's graphics because they also look awesome and i dont care much for squares...

Edit: the 2010 updated version of Plac1d's graphics is done by Coaldiamond, but his download is odd...

thats a thing i found a while ago, it's called MyColors, i grabbed it from Stardocks: Impulse. it's free and what not. based off the game "SINS of a solar empire"

Yeah, I have that skin thing too. It is pretty cool. I'm pretty sure all you need to get it is SINS and stardock impulse.

Edit: Whoops read SINS wrong, thats not free, though there is a demo on impulse
