I would say that Skywalker is more optimised for combat but vimes is more professional, sort of like a 1st level barbarian versus a 2nd level warrior...

At best, it'd be a case of Arson Murder and Life Saving. Luke Skywalker's a Jedi, and he's fought the Imperial's elite troops (Remember guys, despite how they got mowed down, the Storm Troopers kicked the asses of anyone without a Main Character badge) and freed the galaxy from oppression. Sam Vimes isn't the type of guy (from what I've seen) to kill him. At best, this is the single match-up in the entire tournament I can see teaming up. But we're not doing that here.

I think it'd come down to Sam Vimes trying to incapacitate Luke Skywalker, and Luke trying to disarm Sam Vimes. Neither one would be using deadly force, so it'd be something like Batman fighting a Jedi. In fact; that's exactly what it is. But with the force on his side Luke stands a pretty good chance.

Unfortunately, the link given for sam vimes does not have very much information. Could someone who is more familiar with him give a brief outline about his equipment/abilities?

There are times when a hero goes and kills a dragon.

Vimes is not that person.

Vimes is the policeman at the crime-scene afterwards drawing the chalk outline of the dragon.

He is the head of the Ankh Morpork City watch. When he goes on an official trip to a foreign country, AM crime drops to near zero because nobody wants to face his wrath when he returns.

He was once under attack by an ancient mind-controlling being made of pure evil. He shrugged it off.

He's so hard to kill that he held the record for the highest price for assassination in the assassin's guild, before they put him onto the blacklist.

He arrested the AM head of state for treason, and the leaders of two armies in a face-off on charges of conspiracy to commit multiple acts of murder.

He reads a bed-time story to his baby son at the same time, every day. NO EXCEPTIONS. when he's trapped in a cave in the mountains, he yells the bedtime story so loudly his son can hear it all the way down in the town, while on fire.

He is also very much anti-royalty, and makes no secret of the fact that bumping off kings is part of his family tradition.

Introductory speech? Terra isn't a silent hero, but she doesn't talk much. Also, AI or not, I believe Tex is still mostly flesh and blood under the suit, yes? Flesh and blood doesn't react well to being lit on fire. Especially not inside a suit.

What sort of weaponry does Tex have access to?
