I don't know, I'm undecided.  Back when I played Pokemon Yellow, I dumped pikachu for Jolteon because he was SO aggravating, always getting in my way (since he followed you around and often interrupted your walking if you tried turning around), get KO'd by a Ratata, and then he has his own special death scream. PIIKAPIIKAAA!!!! He's really self-absorbed; I'd have preferred it if he quietly suffered like all my other pokemon.

It was amusing though.

Pikachu; I'm pretty sure that Manbearpig has tusks, which are basically multiple horns. Advantage: Pikachu.

Of course! And apparently having horns lets pikachu damage even pokemon made of DIRT.
