Kamina can instantly be all-powerful with something through sheer will.
If he took any of Quote's weapons, they'd instantly be at a permanent level 3. If Quote is hit a couple times by Kamina's sword, he'd suck majorly at level 1, because Kamina doesn't spawn mini bad guys for triangles.

I admit, it's a miracle and nigh travesty that The Faceless Adventure Guy (AKA The Player Character, etc) and/or a cave story character knocked out Kamina in the first round.

But still pretty awesome.
