What manner of chromatic fuckery is happening here?
It is the greatest of the manners. Bow to your chromatic fuckery masters.

... okay folks. Joke's over. You don't have to go home, but you need to go away.

Indeed. I'm locking this for a while since no one seemed to take the hint.

Also, I found out why you need to register on one of them. They implied (heavily) that it's for griefer security. As I said, it's like instead of leaving your passwords on a .txt on the desktop, you put that .txt in a folder on the desktop.
I'd like to point out that this is kind of a bad analogy. It's not a prevention method, it's a detterent. It's more akin to having 50 .txt files and one in a folder. The griffers looking for a cheap laugh won't wont to jump the hurdle of registration because they can pick another server and troll there, since it's a reasonable amount of effort just to get banned compared to other servers. If say 25% don't register that makes the mod's jobs considerably easier and players are much less likely to encounter griff. The players planning to play honestly get many hours of free enjoyment for only a little of their time and less griff as a result: apart from the initial sign up it's pretty win win.

Analogy DOES hold because all the servers are either whitelist or registration.

Besides, they can still grief, they just can't claim territory or sethome.
Ah. I did not know that. Humble apologies, and good luck.

Wait...What's TFC? I figured Team Fortress Classic, but I doubt you can claim territory or anything like that in it.

That would solve the problem rather simply.

They also are brilliant at dodgeing shit, are able to organize the US army with just their fingers, and can convince ISIS members to become jewish!"

This is the reason I try to avoid freeform roleplaying games in favor of games with defined rules. D&D and such. It's much harder to be a Sue/Stu when mechanics-wise you're roughly about as competent as everyone else :P

Thats the main issue, there ARE rules on skills. One good one, two mediocre. Certainly nothing genus level, particularly not THREE genus levels.
